This makes it ideal for track racing (although street competitions can slightly suffer). The Elise is equipped with a 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine that can be upgraded to the Elise S-series for those who require even more power behind the wheel. In the s-series, no less than 217 horsepower can be enjoyed. This equates to an acceleration from zero to 60 miles per hour in an insane 4.2 seconds flat.Keep in mind that the Elise and the Elise S are not necessarily designed for normal travelling.
